Down-to-earth content and link building

I write for the people reading, and I look for links from sites that have a real reason to mention you. It takes longer. That's fine.

I don't buy links. Not even cheap ones.

You've probably had at least one email offering 50 links for €99. They come from sites built to sell links, and Google knows them very well. At best they do nothing. At worst you end up explaining to Google that you didn't mean it.

The links I go after take longer to get: an article in a local paper, a page on a trade association’s site, a supplier listing you among their customers. There are only a few of them, they’re real, and they make sense to the people who click them.

The same goes for the writing. If an article answers a question people genuinely ask, Google usually notices. If it’s written just to squeeze in a keyword, both Google and your readers notice.

From a question to a link

01

Brief

I research what people actually ask about the topic: the words they use, the related questions, what Google shows them today. That becomes an outline.

02

Draft

I write the piece and send it to you. You read it and tell me what doesn’t sit right. You know your trade and I know how people search, so it takes both of us.

03

Publish

Title, description, headings, internal links, images with alt text. I upload it to your site, or send you a document ready to paste.

04

Earn

A good piece of content is also a good reason to contact someone. That’s where link building begins.

Three ways to start

SEO article (about 1,000 words)

from €140

  • Keyword and related-question research
  • Outline and copy
  • Title and meta description
  • Internal link suggestions
  • One round of revisions

Editorial plan with keyword research

from €450

  • Keyword research for your sector and your area
  • Topics grouped by theme, so the articles support each other
  • A 3-month calendar
  • A brief for every article, useful even if you or someone else does the writing

Editorial link building

from €450/month

  • Finding relevant sites: local press, associations, industry blogs, suppliers
  • Contacting the people who run them directly (that’s what outreach means)
  • Content and collaboration pitches
  • Turning mentions of your name that have no link into linked ones
  • A monthly report listing every contact and how it went

I won't promise a number of links per month, because that depends on who says yes. I promise the work, and full transparency on every contact.

No VAT applied: Italian flat-rate scheme, Art. 1(54–89) Law 190/2014.

"From" prices are a starting point. The final price is in your written quote, before I start any work.

No position on Google is guaranteed, by me or by anyone else. Results are measured over time, with no promises about position.

A bit more detail

One article on its own rarely changes much. What you need is a group of pieces on the same theme, linked to each other, answering the questions people ask before they buy. That's why, if you're starting from zero, I'd do the editorial plan before the articles. It costs about the same as three articles and saves you writing ten on the wrong topics.

Link building makes sense once your site has something worth mentioning. If it doesn't yet, I'll tell you, and we'll start with the content.
